Annual giving donors are invited to our annual Celebration of Donors, and those who give at the Founders level are also invited to the Founders Appreciation Party.

Bernard Society
The Bernard Society was founded in 2013 as a way to honor those who have contributed to the foundation for 10 or more consecutive years. The Society is named for Dick and Jean Bernard whose generous support continued uninterrupted for over 30 years. Bernard Society members are recognized in our newsletter, unless they prefer to remain anonymous. Bernard Society members are also invited to the foundation’s annual Celebration of Donors.
Other Special Recognition
Distinguished Service Award
The Distinguished Service Award is presented to individuals when their service to the community through our foundation has been clearly distinguished by length, intensity, devotion, and significant accomplishment. The foundation has a special place in their hearts, and their work has resulted in significant accomplishments for ACHF and its mission.
Nominations for the award are accepted from members of the Ashland Community Health Foundation Board of Directors and past award recipients. The honoree is selected by the Distinguished Service Award committee, and the award is presented annually at the Donor Appreciation Celebration. Recipients are recognized on a special plaque, located at the foundation office. Past and present recipients are pictured above.
