Lights for Life
Giving
Our annual celebration of life
Lights for Life was first introduced in 1987 as a way to combine the spirit of the holidays with the area’s extraordinary sense of community. Over the years, it has become a cherished tradition of remembrance, love, and thanks.
Celebrate & commemorate
Lights for Life contributions can honor and thank someone special in your life. They can reach out to someone who has suffered a loss, or they can highlight a joyful occasion in traditional or creative ways, such as:
- Commemorating the birth of a child or grandchild
- Remembering the loss of a loved one or pet
- Honoring your parent, spouse, or partner
- Celebrating a birthday, anniversary, wedding, or retirement
- Thanking a local business, service provider, or caregiver
- Expressing gratitude to someone whose extra effort helped you or a loved one

In Recognition of Your Gift
The person or family you are honoring will promptly receive a Lights for Life holiday card. The amount of your contribution will remain confidential.
You and your honorees will be recognized in the Ashland Sneak Preview and Talent News & Review in January, and digitally in Ashland.news and the Rogue Valley Times…unless you choose to be anonymous.
Throughout the month of December, your donation will be symbolized by lights on our holiday trees in Ashland, Talent, and Phoenix.
“A gift to Lights for Life is not just a donation. It’s a way to say thank you, I love you, and I remember you.”
– Connie Anderson-Cohoon, Long-time Lights for Life supporter
