ACHF is collecting supplies for the School Nurse Program through May 1, 2026
Every day, our school nurses are there when it matters most, managing type 1 diabetes, supporting students through health crises, guiding families through new diagnoses, and responding to daily emergencies.
School nurses in the Ashland and Phoenix-Talent School Districts serve over 4,700 students each year across 13 locations. The nurses respond to asthma attacks and diabetic crises to seizures and mental health emergencies. They manage chronic conditions for hundreds of students and serve as a safety net for our most vulnerable children.
Across both school districts, the work is done by three nurses. They do incredible work providing direct care, and training other staff members so students are protected even when a nurse isn’t physically present. However, school budgets are stretched thin. Through our Caring Connects Us campaign, we are raising funds to support the School Nurse Program in Ashland and Phoenix-Talent.
In addition to monetary donations, we invite you to donate items from the supply wish list below to support our school nurses. Donations of supplies will be accepted through May 1, 2026, at the ACHF office at 123 Clear Creek Drive, Suite 101, in Ashland.

You also have the option to purchase items to be shipped directly to ACHF through the Amazon Wishlist here.
Supply donations ensure that when a child faces a health issue, school nurses have what they need to respond and care for students.
